Hi dear Garry.

Last night at 9:30,PM, we arrived home from our outreach ministry at the Myanmar border. The roads on which we drove where much terrifying so slippery, muddy and potholes everywhere on the high mountain under thick jungle. In some areas since there was no motorable road so we just walked few kilometres climbing mountain. Physically we were all exhausted but much fruitful in our soul saving ministry, by seeing all the miracles of God in the life of people and the saving of lost souls we were so elated, fully charged up and refreshed ourselves.

The incessant rains troubled us much and make our travelled difficult, the temperature was freezing on the high altitude mountain. Since the mountains are very high in some areas we got our mobile phone network, therefore i was able to sent text but signals were fluctuated. We spent one night in the jungle under thatch roofing house with the villagers, during the night there was heavy rains the small hut we were staying was leaking everywhere and we all didn’t sleep, it was  good time to prayed the whole night.

We bought some food items and few medicines for the refugees with the funds you sent us last month, the refugees don’t stay together in one place they split it up in different locations, in a number of 30 to 50 with little children and suckling babies for security reason and in fear of the Myanmar military. In a plan that if the Myanmar military attack one camp the others can run away for safety.

Because of their dangerous condition physically and psychologically they were always alert ready for any harmful attack. They even suspected us to be a Burmese military spy or agent or any typed of intelligent. Inspite of all the relief materials we gave them and an open identification and self introduction telling that we are a Christian, preachers, came to help them in any way we can be a help. But their inner doubts and suspicions about us is still lingering in their minds. Therefore, they were so reluctant when we try to take pictures, they thought the Burmese military will be able to navigate their camps and it will be dangerous for their life, so we didn’t take any pictures of their location nor their photos. Because we knew if we take pictures it will create fear and their doubts about us will be intense and we can’t have time with them anymore. The pictures i sent was taken in few locations.

But they were so attentive to the gospel of Jesus Christ that we preached to them, we visited five of their camps in different locations. We preached to about 210 people and also prayed for all the 210 people. Out of these 210 people who heard the gospel 59 people got saved and 16 people were totally healed from their sicknesses immediately after our prayer. We trust that the rest of them will gradually come to the saving grace of our Lord Jesus Christ and that many of them will be heal slowly.

Garry, it’s because of your continue and generous financial support that we got souls in a regular basis. Without your generous and regular financial helps we will never get the job done. Thank you so much for all your financial and prayers supports.

Garry, tomorrow God willing i will be again going to Phailengjang and Saijang village for a church touring program.

I sent you some pictures of our tour to the Myanmar border.

Bless you my brother. Shalom.

Your missionary brother

Minthang Suantak.
