Dear Friends,

Greetings in the powerful name of Jesus Christ. Jesus said, "All power is given unto me both in Heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you; and lo I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. A-men. (Matt. 28: 18-20)

The Lord was certainly with us on this mission to the Barabaig people. Mission trips are demanding spiritually and physically; this one was no exception. We walked many miles and shared the love of God with those who would listen. Some were saved and some rejected the Word of God, however everyone would have the opportunity to hear about "The Savior" and decide for him or herself.

When we arrived in Arusha we were told that there were 206,000 Barabaig people. There were only 1000 Christians in the tribe of 206,000 and only 2 Churches when we reached the Balanga district. Our goal for each of the three teams was to live inside the boma (compound) with the three different families we were assigned to. Our job was to win the head of the household and his family. In accomplishing this task we would be able to start a church in the area. The man of peace would lead the church. These men of peace, or MOP, as we sometimes referred to them, were peaceful men but they did not know the Prince of Peace. I am extremely happy to report that all three teams won the man of peace and his household. Three churches were started and several were saved.

This is the work and power of the Holy Spirit, of the Living God. We did what Jesus commanded us to do. God really blessed His work and He allowed us to be a part of His work and His plan. I am so thankful that God has blessed me and called me into the ministry. The call of God is always fresh and new each day. The call will not change and God will never change.
